He received his AB in Criminology (Law Enforcement) at the University of California at Berkeley; M.S. in Police Administration, Michigan State University; and Masters (MPA) and Doctorate (DPA) in Public Administration from the University of Southern California with concentration in organizational theory, behavior and development/effectiveness (diagnosis/assessment, process intervention/change and evaluation).
He has also been an adjunct lecturer in International Relations at Claremont
Graduate School; Systems Management at the University of Southern California,
and Management with the University of Maryland. In addition he was a full time
Strategic Intelligence Management faculty member at the DIA Joint Military Intelligence
College and graduate instructor in the Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence
(MSSI) degree program.
